Gridiron Guardians Boot Camp (GGBC) is built for all high school football officials. Wether you are just starting to officiate or have worked a state final, everyone is welcome. If you're a veteran and looking hone your mechanics and incorporate the new ones, you're encouraged to bring your whole crew!

This camp is educational and instructional utilizing NFHS rules and mechanics from the IHSA Football Official's Manual. The camp will be one day and include both classroom and field work and will be a certified level 2 IHSA clinic.

The classroom education will hit on the IHSA core curriculum and teach philosophies of WHAT and WHY. While the on-field instruction will focus on the WHERE and HOW. There will be real-time on-field instruction with high school teams in 11-on11 live scrimmages.

GGBC instructors will include a variety of personnel from the best the State of Illinois has to offer of IHSA Clinicians, Rules Interpreters, and State Finals Officials.
